Another three pages added to this odd tale, and the first scene completed, I think. Which brings me to a difficult choice: do I switch point of view now to the antagonist, or do I stick with my protagonist all through the story? Not to mention the slight detail of deciding how the story ends. Switching to the antagonist is tempting, if only because it’s quite hard to write in this protagonist’s voice. This type of protagonist is uncharted territory for me anyway; the story may turn out sweet and moving, or unintentionally comical, or mind-numbingly dull. We’ll see what the Codex jury says after I turn in the completed story…
