In The Air Tonight

From the DragonPage Cover to Cover feature, here are some of my favorite quotes from the interviews with my Writers of the Future friends and co-first place winners slithytove and sidravitale.

“So Sidra, tell us about your story ‘My daughter, the Martian’?”
“Well, the title’s not quite as long a title as the title of anthology itself, but I did the best that I could.”

“Of all the contests out there, what made you pick Galaxy Press?”
“Well, I dunno… give me a minute, this question invokes thought and memory processes…”
“[laughter]”
“I guess that was a very teenage response, wasn’t it?”

“So John, you say this story is set in the Middle East?”
“Yes. Because conflict drives fiction, and there is plenty of conflict there.”

John, Sidra, congrats! Isn’t this the coolest thing?

The entire interview can be downloaded from the DragonPage page – no, I do not stutter – but an excerpt including just my contribution is available from my website, Publicity section.
